Doppler effect What is Doppler effect ? Have you ever noticed that when any vehicle,such as,cars,motorcycle etc when they approach you,you hear a high sound and when they go farther from you,you listen a lower sound.But why this happens?The answer is Doppler effect.But what is Doppler effect?When an vehicle Approachs you,it travels a small distance closer between sending out each sound wave.That's why,you hear a high pitch.And when it goes farther from you,it travels a small distance away between sending out each sound wave.And for you it makes a lower pitch.It was first discovered by a mathematician and physicist Christian Doppler in 1842.This effect also happens to light,where it is called red-shifted.

What are Muons ? Mouns are negatively charged subatomic particles that are the part of lepton family.Electrons are also the part of lepton family, though muons are much heavier than electrons. Like electrons, they are not thought to be made up of any smaller particles, making them a so-called elementary particle. Leptons were first noticed and discovered by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Carl Anderson and Seth Neddermeyer in 1936 while they were studying cosmic radiation. Around 10,000 muons reach every square metre of the Earth’s surface each minute. They are created when Cosmic radiation collide with molecules in the upper atmosphere. As muons don’t interact very strongly with matter, they are able to travel through solid objects – including our own bodies – and penetrate deep into the surface of the Earth. What's the difference between stars and constellations? In a nutsell, Stars are Hot body of mostly hydrogen and helium gases. They give off heat and light.The Sun is an example of A Star, whereas Constellation,when seen from Earth, is a group of stars that forms a shapes or pattern.Ursa major is an example of constellation. In a scientific sense, Stars are huge bodies of glowing gases(mostly hydrogen and helium).They are not star-shaped. They Give off tremendous amount of heat and light. The Distances of stars are expressed in terms of light year(1 light year=Distance travelled by light in one year).The color of A Star is determined by its temperature.The hottest star is of Blue color, which can go upto 30,000 k(kelvin) And the coolest is Red star,which can go upto 3,000 K.
